Pennaire Filtration Ltd is a recently formed UK company providing a complete range of industrial dust and fume control equipment.
The company has been established by a team of experienced engineers and designers with extensive knowledge of air movement, solids handling and industrial filtration applications.
As well as supplying a huge range of bag filters, cyclones and pneumatic conveying systems Pennaire are not afraid to call on the ability of their designers to solve some of the industry's more interesting problems.
A recent project for one of the worlds leading manufacturing companies involved the design of a mobile gas stream sampling rig. The use of a high efficiency cyclone and high pressure exhauster mounted on a mobile platform has allowed the customer to quickly and easily take "in production" dust samples for analysis. The self contained mobile rig has a control panel fitted with digital airflow control instrumentation and variable sample countdown timer. Special interlocks on the cyclone inlet "enable" the rig, only allowing it to operate when connected to a sampling point.
This is only one of a number of special projects completed. Others include "Clean In Place" high pressure pharmaceutical product collectors, telescopic dust extraction arms for dust free tanker loading and polished stainless steel HEPA filters.
