The Nova Weigh Model 400 has been designed to deliver high-end 24-bit weighing performance and easy connectivity, with a broad spectrum of automation systems.
Its compact DIN-rail mounting form requires minimal panel space, and with a choice of Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, Ethernet and other industry-standard fieldbus protocols, it can be readily integrated into systems, from a simple PLC-based local controller to a plant-wide DCS system.
Setting up and calibration of the 400 is easily accomplished from the integral keypad, or via PC by using the Windows-based ‘Inovation’ set-up program. ‘Inovation’ allows each set-up profile including calibration data to be stored and quickly reloaded into a replacement unit, to minimise possible downtime.
Ten-point linearisation helps the 400 compensate for installation problems due, for example, to a vessel weighing system with imperfect pipe-work.
