CBA purchases screens from HBL

Companhia Brasileira de Alumnio ( CBA ) has acquired from Haver & Boecker Latinoamericana ( HBL ) two large-size modular screens, model RTE 3658 X 10972. Each screen's capacity is of 500 tons / hour of bauxite. The machine's frequency exciters are adjustable. The screens were designed for a wet screening process with water spray, in order to achieve the maximum possible degradation of impurities.

In recent bauxite projects, Haver & Boecker has featured with distinguished projects of vibrating screens that provide great flexibility of adjustments.

CBA will install the two new screens in its plant in Mira / Minas Gerais. This is, in fact, a complete unit of bauxite screening, consisting of two lines of primary screens and secondary screen of large size, model RTE 3658 X 10972, whose purpose is to classify products: primary in the 1.6mm mesh and secondary in the 0.84mm mesh.

This project distinguishes itself for the large-size screens, for being driven by exciters with frequency inverter for dynamic adjustments, monitoring systems, insulation frame and innovative technology for absorption of loads with Rosta vibrating insulators, offering very low level of noise and long life, mainly in areas of high humidity.

The decision was taken in favor of Haver & Boecker Latinoamericana because of the excellent and flexible adjustment of the machine to optimize the process during operation.
