The mortar will be used to cover radioactive waste.

Mortar will be consist i.a.

-sand

-cement

-limeflour

-plasticizer

-water

Who can tell me the best types of mixers, and their pro's en cons for this purpose?

(Ploughshare, double shaft,.....?)

Thanks in advance!

Maybe this could have been posted in 'Environmental Aspects' considering the radioactivity. There are several statutes in countries where significant radioactivity exists.

Tonnages involved are likely to be considerable(?) and rate of placement also plays a part in your selection. Is the mixer mandated for eventual disposal?

There is nothing special about the mixture, but see below, so any commercial local mixer will do. If you are troubled about mixer choice you also need to examine your mortar delivery situation.

If you are involved in a Japanese project you really should examine your water in the first place. From all accounts it might be more radioactive than the waste that it is supposed to cover.
