Your installation would perform approx. 70 tons/hr at a conveying pressure of approx. 1.5 barg.
However, there exists a wide range of fly-ashes.
Check with FLSmidt whether the FK pump, which you have, is suitable. (the right pitch ratio).
Also, do not underestimate the required FK-pump feeding system and the necessary controls.

The pitch, together with the rpm, sets the volumetric material flow
The pitch ratio controls the material compression to form the sealing plug.

We would like to convey flyash with our existing FK pump in dense phase. What is the maximum conveying rate for our pneumatic conveying system based on the data provided below.
Conveying Material Specification:
Material: Product Flyash (i.e. Grinded Flyash)
Median Particle Size: 12 microns
Bulk Density: 941 kg/m3
FK Pump Specification:
Model: M250
Screw Diameter: 250 mm
Design Capacity: 232 TPH
Outlet Diameter: 8"
Compressor Specification:
Model: Fuller C225
Differential Pressure: 1.66 Bar
Designed Capacity: 34.7 m3/min
Pipeline Arrangement
Pipe Diameter: 10" (i.e. Pipe diameter change from 8" at the FK pump oulet to 10")
Horizontal Distance: 300 m
Vertical Distance: 7.62 m
Number of Bends: 20
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
