N80 steel

I m trying to understand what exactly is N80 steel and how popular is it? I read an article about recycling cigarette buds as an anti corrosion material for N80 steel.

Dear Karan Kanodia,

N80 is chinese steel for pipes, tubes and similar: So you have a direction to google.

I don't think that used cig. buds could be related in any technical way, only ;-)
