Introduction
Along with the rapid growth of Chinese economy, the research, design, manufacture, and commissioning of pneumatic conveying technologies have developed rapidly and prosperously. Meanwhile, the pneumatic conveying technologies for powder materials in various industries are stepping into a new developing age, such as in electric power industry, petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry?pharmaceutical industry, light industry, grain, port and superfine industry. We therefore are intended to make a communication opportunity for domestic and overseas experts on updated pneumatic conveying technologies, through a good level of participation from both industry and academia with contributions on both industrial applications and developments.
It is the 2007 International Pneumatic Conveying Symposium in China that will be the good platform to discuss recent advances, highlight key-issues, identify trends and refresh vision of this broad and fast-evolving pneumatic conveying field. It is hoped that contributors will take the opportunity to make keynote speeches, present a range of successful current developments and applications, and to highlight future industrial trends.
