Dry Processing for Ultrafine Industrial Mineral Fillers

Dry Processing Technology for Ultrafine Industrial Mineral Fillers to D50 = 0.9 µm

Webinar by Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems

Wednesday, February 16, 2011 - 2 pm EST

In today’s mineral filler market the range of dry processing technology for ultrafine mineral powders can be confusing, particularly when the application demands on such minerals is sophisticated and the requested particle size has to touch almost the Nano range. In addition to a certain powder fineness, often far below a top cut of 10 µm, an accurate particle size distribution, ultra sharp top cuts and often the preservation of particle shape, e.g. needle shape, has to be maintained.

This presentation focuses on today’s existing dry processing technologies for industrial mineral fillers, as well as the aspect of energy efficiency and “through life” cost efficiency.

The program is designed for anyone processing mineral fillers but could be beneficial to anyone with a size reduction application. The program will run for 45 minutes and conclude with a short question and answer session.
