New WAM Bombay Factory

After ten years of distribution of WAMGROUP products made in Italy, the fast growing demand by the Indian market could no longer be satisfied by WAM Bombay through the traditional sources. Time was ripe for local manufacturing starting with cement screw conveyors and silo venting filters.

On December 1st 2005, the new factory premises were opened in a traditional ceremony by WAM Bombay Managing Director, Anil Manduskar, accompanied by WAMGROUP Chairman and C.E.O., Vainer Marchesini, and WAM S.p.A. Deputy General Manager, Stefano Baraldi.

From the beginning of 2006, WAM Bombay’s products, which are mainly intended for the Indian market, are manufactured in a 3,000 square metre shed whose layout was executed by specialists from the Italian parent company in collaboration with local staff from WAM Bombay.

To cover the entire subcontinent, the sales department of WAM Bombay relies on branch offices in all major states. Together they guarantee the supply of top quality products, short delivery time and a second-to-none ‘round-the-clock’ after-sales service.
