twp types of gypsum available from us:

One is a natural one, called anhydrite, applicable in cement industry, soil improvement, feeder additives etc.It is mainly composed of calcium sulphate without combined water.

There are two grades of them, typically they contain about 92% and 84% of calcium sulphate respectively.

The other one is man-made gypsum and it is made from the slag of the fertilizer of ammonium phosphate by de-phosphorization and alkalification of the slag,(that is, changing the acid slag to alkali one) and pelletization. These man-made gypsum balls, maily containing calcium sulphate-bi-hydrate(CaSO4-2H2O) are widely used in Chinese cement industry as a substitute of natural gypsum and fluorspar and their main specifications are as follows:

1. Main content:CaSO4-2H2O

2. SO3: 39-43%

3. P, F: trace

4. Crystalized water: 16-20%

5. Insolubles: 5%max.

6. PH value: 7min.

7. Free water: 14-18%
