The bucket belt of the Continuous Bucket Conveyors (type “SEB”) is a so called closed belt. The moulded polyamide buckets are interconnected with flexible flaps. This builds a robust bucket belt, which is used in all kinds of industries successfully for over 4 decades world wide. A capacity range of 3 to 120 m3/h is available, different bucket materials from polyamide to polypropylene or aluminium, various casing constructions from completely gas fitted to open construction for the pharma or food industry.
This kind of conveyor finds its application for cereals, sugar, pet food pellets, mortar and several more all over the world for many years.

The bucket belt of the Pendulum Bucket Conveyor (type “P”) is built from free swinging buckets between the two rubber chains and can be tilted at any location with pneumatic or electrical driven tilt cams with feed back signals.

Since the buckets are hanging upright at any place various conveyor line ups are possible, like upwards and downwards, T-shapes, O-shapes and so on. The product remains in the buckets without spillage. To avoid product loss at the various possible metered inlet locations the buckets are overlapping like a closed belt.

Another important advantage is the easy to clean bucket handling. The pendulum buckets can be removed from the bucket belt by hand without any tools for controlled external cleaning. Also the inside of the casing can be reached easily at any place without the buckets being in the way. This external cleaning ensures no humidity is carried into the casing. The buckets will be maintained after cleaning by hand easily.
This kind of conveyor is used for distributing chewing gum into different bins or for pain reliever tablets and many more.

The customer has the possibility to choose from different casing designs for both types of conveyor. All casings are dust sealed and equipped with drawers underneath the bottom horizontal leg, maintenance and control openings and is build as modules. A great number of standard modules, like the tension and inlet station, drive station, corner station, can be put together with individual fitting segments. All these modules can be interchanged later on, if the production line up is changed by the customer.
It is possible to choose from gas sealed casing, dust sealed standard casing or a easy to clean version with removable side covers for easy access.
This casing is preferred by customers from the food and pharma industry with high hygienic standards.

German company WIESE Förderelemente GmbH builts their improved range of pendulum bucket conveyors and continuous bucket conveyors, which are designed to gently convey powders and bulk materials in minimal space horizontally and vertically. During the horizontal-vertical-horizontal transport the product remains safe and undisturbed in the bucket. Metered feed at the inlet results gentle product handling and not scooping the product minimises wear and tear on the buckets.
The main advantage is the unique rubber chain, which is stretch, link and grease free, has increased “up-time”, meets food standards, no metal-to-metal abrasion and a noise level below 60dbA. The buckets are maintained between two rubber chains. The upper blocks of the chain hold the buckets and the lower blocks form the teething for the roller toothed drive wheels. The rubber chain has steel cords at its core making it extremely strong and preventing belt stretch.
