This years Seminar will be focusing on the UK Strategic Rail Authority’s aim to reduce environmental pollution by a move away from the road transport of bulk & powdered materials. As always, design technology is the heart of the annual MHEA Technical Awareness Seminar. Environment related issues arising from (i) the fuels used in thermal power stations and (ii) recycling will figure prominently in the BULK2003 programme. There will be a new value-engineering look at contract maintenance.
TOPICS: Road to Rail, Design Technology, Bioenergy Projects, Co-Firing for Power Stations, Optimum Maintenance & Recycling.
Please respond to the MHEA Secretariat before the 15th November 2002 with your request to present a paper. Chosen papers will be included in the formal programme. A 75 word Synopsis will be required by 10th December 2002 and, final proofs by the 10th February 2003.
