I am now a Ph. D candidate of Tohoku University in Japan and will graduate on

March 2003. I am doing research work on corrosion of metals. My doctoral

research area mainly includes: preparation of high purity copper,oxidation mechanism

of high-purity copper, and effects of trace and small amounts of impurities on

oxidation kinetics of copper.

I am really interested in the research field of corrosion, since I have

the similar experience. I hope I can further my work in your group you led. If I could have
