I would not recommend attempting to cold vulcanize a belt without any formal training. The nature of your question is very clear that you have not had this training.

There are many professional specialist in this field that will do this for you. All belting manufacturers have very specific splicing procedures that must be followed and not something that inexperienced individuals should tackle.

Most belt manufacturers will not honor the belt warranty if the splicing contractor is not certified by the belt manufacturer. So if you do it yourself you take the risk and you also may void the belt warranty. ■

it is right , i have no idea about vulcanizing ,,,, usually we use clamp and bolts ....

i need more details about this method ... is it better than clamps ? ■

Yes vulcanized is much better than mechanical splicing. If you do insist to tackle it yourself (I truly do not recommend it without professional training) here is a good article from Rema Tip Top. Belt preparation, cleanliness, following belt manufacturers splicing procedures and using the proper adhesives is key to a successful splice
