You have to design your feeder first and then select exciter ■

Dear sir,
This is nilesh bais from india.
At present i am working on a design of vibrating feeder with cap-150TPH and Particle size to be feed is 600mm-Coal.
and i would like to use Exciter for this purpose instead of vibating motors.
I am having some problem in selection of Exciter for this purpose and How can i select the mounting position for the same over the feeder.
For your reference i am attaching general arrangement of this feeder.
Kindly help me for this.

Problem In Designing A Feeder.
Dear sir,

At present i am working on a design of vibrating feeder with cap-400TPH and Particle size to be feed is 300mm-Coal.
and i would like to use unbalance motor for this purpose.
I am having some problem in selection of unbalance motor,rpm of feeder & in calculation of stroke for this purpose and How can i select the mounting position for the same over the feeder.

At present iam working on a design of a vibrating feeder OF CAP-400TPH coal .i have some problems regarding mounting of unbalance motor ,in motor selection and rpm of feeder.
So,please help me in solving this problem.

After looking at your drawings, why don't you purchase a two-mass design... it will be less maintenance and use less horsepower.

It looks like your approx. weight should be doubled when you check loads per corner.
You have to determine the natural frequencies before issuing drawigns for manufacturing or you can be later drilling holes or welding stiffeners to the feeder trying to get an operating window. If you add too much weight by adding two mechanisms your force will no be going through the centre of gravity and then you will have another problem. ■

Why you are looking for exciter bases feeder.
You may go for twin shaft linier motion feeder. which can handle upto 1000TPH of material with min BD 1.6t/cum.
