• The VRM vertical roller mill from ECUTEC is a complete new design and a further step to more efficient fine grinding for soft and medium-hard products. The basic concept is based on the combination of a high-quality mill body and the high-efficient ECUTEC classifiers, type TC and ALPHA.
• The mill body is designed either with 2 or 3 rollers and can work with standard gear boxes. Due to an innovative and integrated bearing system of the roller table, this mill does not need any reinforcement on the gearbox itself. This reduces delivery time and makes maintenance easy. The milling force is no longer transmitted to any foundation, but directly relied to the roller arms. This makes also civil work, erection and operation easier and cheaper.
• An additional access platform around the classifiers makes maintenance and operation convenient.
Classifier Head Options:
Fine Classifier TC
With the new TC classifier the VRM roller mill combines perfectly for the production of fine and medium fine powders. The new innovative rotor design reduces energy consumption without loosing its sharp cut. Optionally the classifier can be equipped with an adjustable coarse reject screw in order to produce two final products.
Turbo Classifier ALPHA
The already known ALPHA classifier has been performed to work as a top classifier on the VRM roller mill. The sharp top cut and the high reliability combines perfectly with the VRM in order to produce efficiently powders down to d98<6µm.
