How to calculate live load of A VIBRATING SCREEN :

Inputs available:


  1. area of the screen
  2. specific gravity of material
  3. bulk density of the rom
  4. moisture content
  5. screen efficiency
  6. inclination of screen
  7. motor speed
  8. material flow rate (tph)
  9. dead weight of the equipment
  10. live weight excluding material

If you just want to look at support loads, generally 20% of the screen mass will suffice.

Otherwise, check the bed depth on each deck - normally up to 2-4x the particle size with smaller sizings, and use a 35% coupling factor between the screen and the product.
