Increasing capacity of roller presses and ball mills. ECOFOR technology

Posted in: , on 3. Sep. 2018 - 18:29

Dear expert!

Our cement plant has a roller press and a ball mill of a closed cycle and we do our best to increase capacity of the grinding system and reduce energy costs. I am interested now the ECOFOR technology - neutralization of grinding materials. The Ecofor Device decreases the resistance of the material to grinding, which is the same as increasing the grindability of the material. It also prevents the aggregation of powder material in the last chamber of the mill and helps to segregate the fine particles from larger ones in the separator, thus decreasing the return flow of material to the mill. The Ecofor Device helps to avoid the charging-up of insulating material inside mills and separators.

Anybody know this technology to increase the performance of roller presses and ball mills?

They have a good reference list on their website www.ecofor.com/en

Any firm which claims to modify any Bond Index will surely substantiate the claim on their website or in publications. This device might save energy in other ways.

Liquid grinding aids are often used in grinding processes and these additives reduce the bond index. Since grinding aids are antistatic. I think so. Device ECOFOR may reduce the bond index due to electroneutralisation of material. What do you think, can liquid grinding aids modify the bond index?

Try Before You Buy

When you add a liquid to the original material you lose the Bond Index. Wet grinding is an example of this.

The system quoted is an improved separation of materials in the milling process & might be a power saver.

To evaluate the system properly you need test results from a sample of your material which has been witnessed at the suppliers premises.

This is standard procedure with simple pumps & other equipment. Don't take any 3rd party advice. Nobody in this business ever admits mistakes. That is why they happen all the time.
