Is there any experience with sticky materials out there ?

Hi everybody. I am new at the forum but with quite some experience with the solids handling field. I would like to know if anyone has any experience with pneumatic conveying of dry glyphosate or any material with similar characteristics (sticky). Any sharing will be appreciated. Regards.

Dear dromemario,

I have used dilute phase for conveying rubber crumbs which were very sticky. They were used in a process where small amounts of talc was acceptable. I got the rubber crumbs coated with talc in a blender and then gravity fed them into the conveying line via a rotary valve. I conveyed them into a pulse jet type of dust collector that had a bin-discharger type bottom. This system worked worked very well.

I do not know if a coating agent can be used in your process.
