Biography:
I was born in India in 1941 and immigrated to the USA in 1960. I have a masters degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA degree from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies. I have recently retired from Union Carbide Corporation Dow Chemical Company after working with them for 39 years. I am now working as a consultant from my home office in the area of bulk solids handling with special expertise in pneumatic conveying.

Trouble shooting of existing pneumatic conveying systems to improve performance.
Design, construction, and start-up of new pneumatic conveying systems.
Selection and sizing of equipment for pneumatic conveying systems.
Design of bulk loading and unloading systems for hopper cars and hopper trucks.
Design and selection of bins and silos.
Design and selection of blending bins.
Help on measurement of flow properties of bulk solids.
Design of solids handling processes involving all kinds of volumetric and gravimetric feeders and meters, dust collection, dust and fines removal, sizing screens, dust explosion prevention and relief, elutriators and special techniques for prevention of streamer generation,etc.
