The only way to clean the line is to stop the feed. For this you should have a small surge hopper above the feeder. Cleaning time should not exceed few minutes. A 5 minute surge hopper is enough.
For cleaning the conveying line, stop the feed and run the blower until its discharge pressure corresponds to the clean pipe pressure drop.

will powder extruded pellets flow along with powder help in cleaning the line? if yes then, what should be the charging rate and for how long? where should be the feed point?

I WANT TO CLEAN POWDER CONVEYING LINE OF 8 INCH DIA AND 125 METER LONG SPREAD OVER A HEIGHT OF 45 METERS, IT HANDLES PARTICLE SIZE OF 200 TO 500 MICRONS, CAPACITY IS 15 TONS/ HOUR.
DILUTE PHASE CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM.
I WANT TO CLEAN THE CONVEYING LINE WITHOUT STOPPING PRODUCTION, I MAY REDUCE THE LOAD.
PLEASE SUGGEST THE SOLUTION IF POSSIBLE, IT MIGHT BE HAVING OBSTRUCTION IN RETURN LINE TO BLOWER ALSO. ■
