Dear Sir / Madam ,

We are the largest fully integrated manufacturers of high quality flat steel products (HRC ) in the western region of India, having production capacity 2.4 Million tonnes per Annum and located at Hazira - 394 270, India. We are also enhancing our production capacity from 2.4 to 3.0 Million M.Ton in near future.

To cater to the need of raw materials to our HBI & HRC Unit and for export we intend to develop berthing facilities for unloading capsize vessels, about 5 Kms. distance from our plant.

I> QUANTUM OF CARGO TO BE HANDLED PER ANNUM

Our tentative handling for cargo movements per Annum would be as under :-

II> BERTH FACILITIES

We would be constructing 2 berths at port to accommodate the following shipments / sizes.

A. For Bulk Cargo.

Ship size : 1,80,000 DWT

Length : 300 Mtrs.

Breadth : 50 Mtrs

Draft : 16 Mtrs

Cargo proposed to be handled:-

Lump Ores, Pellets, Coal, Lime stone

B.For Unit and General Cargo

Ship size : 75,000 DWT

Length : 225 Mtrs.

Breadth : 37 Mtrs.

Draft : 13.5 Mtrs.

Cargo proposed to be handled:-

HRC, Sheet Packs, Slabs & Scrap.

1> Who can supply us cargo handling equipments namely Ship unloaders - Capacity 2000 TPH for Bulk & 6000 TPD for unit cargo.

2> Consultants who can provide services to us for finalizing the layout, equipments selection & assist us in testing & commissioning of equipments.

3> We would prefer vendor who can provide us services on BOOT basis i.e. Built, Operate, Owned & Transfer.

4> Necessary electrical power will be made available at berth.

5> On the basis of equipments selection the berth width / rail span will be finalized.

6> The specifications stipulated for the above equipments are preliminary & tentative.
