Surely an leading maritime consultancy like Royal Haskoning has its own specifications for harbour equipment. Why not issue those for enquiry like a proper firm would? Posford Duvivier, as the UK arm was known, also claimed to be proficient in shoreline works, just as long as the mechanical contractor could carry them along. ■

Due to development of small ports in India,requirement for floating cranes and Transshippers has increased.To feed a power plant of 500 mw you need min. 5 Mmt of coal per annum and the best solution is either to unload from a big vessel to barges and bring it to shore by using transshipment method or by floating cranes.
