Knowledge of moisture contents at depths in stored potash piles in a warehouse, railcar or ship hull is crucial and can be used as a product quality indicator and management tool in monitoring and controlling potash storage, inventory, shipment and handling. As soon as we test these moisture meters and they are found sufficiently accurate and adaptable for obtaining moisture contents in stored bulk potash, we will make appropriate recommendations to the North American potash industry.
