I am looking for information on a screw conveyor that can fill a 20ft bulk container through the rear doors.

The screw must be able to self-support for at least 15ft in the horizontal. Sometime ago I seen some information on a piece of equipement that was trailer based and was a twin screw that automatically retracted from the container as the product back-loaded.

Any ideas?

Is there problems conveying hydrated lime with screw conveyors at a 45 degree incline and one minimum bending radius to horizontal? Does the material pack? How much wear on the screw can you expect when you bend the flexible screw?
