Please find the photo attached, showing the uneven gaps between the plies. This may cause the uneven thickness of rubber compound between the plies. Luckily, this is a belt end piece , which will not be used in the vulcanizing joint.
My question is, if hot vulcanizing joint is carried out, in such places, what could be the reliability of the joint? What causes such problems during belt manufacturing?
What is the norm for measuring the distance between the plies.
