What Is The Question

Posted on 21. Jun. 2016 - 12:48

Dear Mr. Zhu,

all of the big players in mat. handling shall quote for a sufficiently large tube conveyor project. Furthermore, assuming you are based in the ROC, you should be well placed to receive local / mainland quotations. I'd rather predict a rush, under the current circumstances.

What would be important is firstly to hire someone with a strong technical and commercial background in this field. Then you should require references from anyone approaching the budget from the right side... and keep warranty issues under close scrutiny.

But then, pls. allow me to ask whether you are content with these / some commonplaces, being of a management level as per your contact data?

Regards

R.

Dear John,

After reviewing your many post, dating back to 2013, and requests for technical support, it appears you do not have the expertise/technical skill to execute the 4-5 km OLC pipe or trough. You ask many questions regarding conveyor performance including polymer influence and you have trouble with power calculations, motor sizes & distribution. Why not seek assistance from reputable experts? Asking forum support on how to design a conveyor system or fix a conveyor system which is badly conceived, is not the function of this forum.

Specific questions can lead to specific answers. Questions that have potentially many answers, depending on the many design attributes lead to confusion.

I note your motor diagram with 6x350 kW drives (2100 kW). This booster configuration is not possible. Mr. John Gateley so notes the same. You appear not to understand his response. Your sketch does not allow for tripper action. Follow the ore flow.

This 4-pulley booster drive diagram is a cartoon worthy of publication in a comic strip, when the unknowable reach for unattainable.

Have a go at asking the specifics and not the generals. Look at what you publish, at least once, before sending it into the public domain.
