How to choose correctly rotating speed and motor power

Dear All,

My name is Hiandy from Indonesia. Now, I am in beginning to design an equipment to cleaning inside of silo from material attached to its wall. Sometimes the material is hard.

As my mechanical background is very limited, I have a difficulty to choose the right capacity of air motor (to choose the speed and power).

So, I would really appreciate if some of you could help me on above matter.

Look forward to having your reply.

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Hiandy

Cleaning Silos

It is not clear whether the equipment is for your own use or for commercial offering but the duty varies considerably according to the product and silo size. Whilst it is often a necessary operation it is usually better to try and prevent it happening and, as there are many establishied companies offering this service, I would not be tempted to try to re-invent the wheel from scratch.
