FINANCIAL SUPPORT!
We are happy to announce that CINIGeo is providing a limited number of partial financial support to qualifying students, this in order to encourage students to participate in CHoPS-05, 2006 Conference.
To apply for such support, students should conform to the following:
- Submit an abstract to the conference through the conference website <http://www.ortra.com/solids>www.ortra.com/solids.
- Send an application letter to CINIGeo (Via Eudossiana 18 - 00184 Roma, ITALY) with a copy to the Conference Secretariat (
- The application letter should be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from the student’s supervisor, which certifies the candidate’s status (Master degree, PhD, Post-doc, etc.).
- Applications and abstracts should be submitted not later than NOVEMBER 30, 2005.
Partial financial support may be applied towards conference registration (excluding social activities and optional services), lodging and/or travel, in this order of priority and will be deposited in credit to the granted applicant in the Conference Secretariat hands.
All applications will be assessed by the CINIGeo Grant Committee.
Final decision will be announced by JANUARY 15, 2006 by CINIGeo.

First Announcement & Call for Papers
We are pleased to announce that CHoPS-05 - The 5th Conference for Conveying and Handling of Particulate Solids, will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Sorrento (Naples), Italy, on August 27-31, 2006.
The Conference will provide a platform for the presentation and discussion of new developments in the field of conveying and handling of particulate solids. Authors are invited to submit an abstract via the conference website for the consideration of the scientific committee.
