Given angles of internal friction, wall friction, and density (can be entered as constants or as functions of various forms) and the flow function (cohesive strength versus consolidation stress), it calculates the hopper angle that gives mass flow and the minimum outlet dimension for conical and wedge-shaped hoppers.

The program also calculates outlet dimensions for other hopper angles. The program has other features --- you can calculate flow factors without using those charts in the literature, nice if your effective angle of internal friction doesn't happen to be divisible by 10, and the results are presented in cells which can be copied into Excel or other applications.
