Dust Problems with Bagging Machines

Posted in: , on 3. Jul. 2014 - 17:26

Recently, we have visited a plant where the client has high speed bagging machines with auto bag placer. The rated capacity of these machines are 1200 bags(50 kg) per hour, but due to various reasons the actual capacity is 600 bags /hr.

We have solutions for increasing the present capacity, but the solution for dust particles around machine is required from Hon. members of this forum. In the case of rotary packing m/c for cement,we provide hood around the packing machine, all around the hood we have a pipe with suction points at various points. We connect the dust laden air from bagging machine and other points to the dust collector. Now, we need to know the type of dust collection systems suitable for bagging machines for fertiliser.

We need 9 nos. of such systems from the suppliers.

Thanks

Anil

You have answered your own question. Surely all you need to do is contact the suppliers of the dust collectors you, or the Client, use at present. It also seems likely that your Client didn't bother to fit adequate dust collection in the first place or perhaps you would consider explaining "...due to various reasons....": what "various points" are you talking about. Kindly consider approaching the suppliers directly rather than burdening the forum members with problems which neither yourself nor your lazy clients are prepared to describe in any meaningful detail. You visit a lot of plants: flood these forums with vague suggestions: expect forum members to present answers based on superficial questions and then draw those answers out of a hat. Some even fall for it!

Dear John, Thanks again for your reply.Your reply is always full of bitter pills. Please talk about your self on this forum and do not comment about forum members what they think.

Thanks again.
