CONTROL SYSTEM
Solimar Pneumatic’s control system, used in conjunction with the Solimar Silo Fluidizer, keeps dry materials flowing in storage silos, weigh hoppers and filters. The Control System can be configured to pulsate or alternate Fluidizers with a unique timer control adjustment, allowing multiple on/off time intervals and durations.

EZ-IN SILO FLUIDIZER
Solimar Pnuematic’s E-Z IN Silo Fluidizer assemblies are ideal for retrofitting existing hoppers or bins, or when frequent inspection and maintenance is required.
Installs from the outside - quickly and easily
Now, no one has to go down inside the silo or bin to install or replace a silo fluidizer. So, when you get tired of plugged up fabric aeration pads, you can replace them with Solimar's new E-Z IN Silo Fluidizer and you can do it directly from the outside of the hopper. Once Installed, you can also perform regular inspection and maintenance as required from the outside, saving you both time and money.
Solimar's E-Z IN Silo Fluidizer features a Solimar’s patented silicone disk (Silo Fluidizer) that will not plug, harden or crack. Solimar’s unique gasket material allows the mounting plate to seal against the silo wall, while compensating for any imperfections of the old installation to make a tight seal with no leaks. The gasket is permanently fixed to the mounting plate. E-Z IN assemblies can be used with either flat or conical hoppers.
Built to last. No additional wear plate is needed with the Solimar E-Z IN. A zinc plated carbon steel mounting plate offers excellent wear resistance with even the most abrasive materials.
Food grade available. A standard oval style Solimar E-Z IN Silo Fluidizer is available in stainless steel for food grade applications.

DISK FLUIDIZER
FOR DRY BULK TANK TRAILERS
Solimar Pneumatic's disk fluidizer system provides aeration, vibration and directional air flow required for rapid unloading of dry bulk trailers and containers.
Unlike fabric pads that plug or wear out and have to be replaced regularly, the Disk Fluidizer won't pick up moisture which can cause mildew.
The Fluidizer can also be retrofitted to replace older aeration cones. Whether you are hauling cement, flour, starch, fly ash, or any dry bulk material, the Solimar Disk Fluidizer will make your job easier.
How it Works. Pressurized air enters the exterior manifold and is forced through the opening of the tank's hopper wall. The fluidizer disk disperses the air along the inside of the hopper. Near the end of the unloading cycle the fluidizer begins to vibrate. This combination of air flow and vibration of the disk prevents bridging and rat holing while generating quick product flow to the outlet and ensuring good cleanout of the trailer.

FLUIDIZER PLATES
Solimar Pneumatic's Fluidizer Plates replace fabric pads and aerator plates used in Fruehauf and other bulk trailers. Installed in the trailer hopper plenum, the plate provides far superior unloading performance compared to fabric pads - faster unloading and better cleanout -- all with less maintenance.
Unlike fabric pads that plug or wear out and have to be replaced regularly, the Solimar Fluidizer Plate with Solimar's patented Fluidizer won't tear, clog or pick up moisture which can cause mildew. Solimar Fluidizers will easily last 3X longer than fabric pads.

DUST FILTERS
INTERNAL FILTER FOR SELF-LOADING TRAILERS
Solimar Pneumatic's Internal Filter System significantly reduces dust using unique filtering media of porous polymer tubes. Using multiple tubes, each with up to ft2 of filter area each, the Solimar Internal Filter Systems can provide 80 ft2 to 183 ft2 of filter area depending on the Filter model.
The Internal Assembly Filter is mounted inside one of the manhole collars. Air is drawn through the filter via an outlet in the manhole collar connected to the vacuum side of the blower.
The porous tubes are fitted in an aluminum tube plate, and held in place by an aluminum retaining plate. The tubes are physically protected by an aluminum canister. The tubes can be individually removed for inspection of replacement.

EXTERNAL MOUNT FILTER FOR SELF LOADING TRAILERS
Solimar Pneumatic's External Filter System significantly reduces dust using unique filtering media of porous polymer tubes. Using multiple 36? tubes, each with ft2 of filter area, the Solimar External Filter System can provide 120 ft2 to 183 ft2 of filter area depending on the Filter model.
The porous tubes are fitted in an aluminum tube plate, and held in place by an aluminum retaining plate. The tubes can be individually removed for inspection of replacement.
The Solimar Filter System is equipped with a pressure relief valve to prevent the blower from starving for air and possible damage.

Solimar Fluidizers have superior sealing properties at the outer edge of the aerator rubber that conforms to any hopper configuration, whether it is flat or curved. They also seal completely to the hopper or wear plate to stop the back flow of product into aeration lines - even when flood loading.
Solimar Fluidizers have been designed to provide the optimum amount of air volume for efficient pneumatic unloading of your bulk trailer. Don't be fooled by claims of faster unloading because of higher air flow rates. When too much air is used, you unload more air and less product.
Solimar Fluidizers have a robust design that doesn't have weak snap retention legs that can break off or flimsy disks that crack and wear prematurely.
The stainless steel wear plate has a 1 1/2" opening that conforms to the trailer industry standard of 1 1/2" holes in the hopper. Solimar recommends stainless wear plates where wear of the hopper wall is of concern in abrasive materials such as sand or cement.
Solimar Fluidizers have external manifold housings that are available in 1, 2, or 3 ports. Material is either a Clear-view engineered plastic or an ultra tough grey nylon. Fluidizer component parts are manufactured from F.D.A. approved materials and will withstand operating temperatures up to 350? F
Solimar Fluidizer components can be used as direct replacements for Sure Seal, Fruehauf, Heil or Polar aerators.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Solimar Pneumatic's Research and Development Center is unmatched in the industry. Solimar's pneumatic test facility allows our engineers to develop and test new products and to analyze the performance of existing pneumatic components.
Solimar has a long history as a pioneer in the industry. PD (pressure differential) technology brought Keith Solimar to the United States from his native Sweden in 1958. As a young man he came to North America to introduce the Swedish-developed Interconsult trailer. Keith later formed Nordic Trailer Company in partnership with Ron Johnson to develop bulk trailer sales for the emerging dry bulk market in the United States.
Keith's interests always centered on understanding and promoting pressure differential technology, and his devotion and passion to engineered solutions led to the development of this unique and specialized facility.
Solimar's Research and Development Center consists of large instrumented hopper tanks, where multiple computerized measurements are recorded during pneumatic transfer of the bulk material. Variable piping arrangements can be configured to represent unloading lines up to 170 feet long and with pipe diameters from 2" to 8".
Highly accurate measurements of weight transfer from one tank to the other, elapse time, air flow rates and pressures at multiple points in the system allow our experts to know what works best. No guessing here. Solimar is the dry bulk discharge expert.
The Solimar Research and Development facility has a choice of two air sources. One is a diesel driven Gardner-Denver Cyclo blower to provide one bar pressure (14.5 psi) commonly used in North America. The other, a MAN screw compressor to provide up to two bar (29 psi), to simulate the high-pressure, low-volume air typically used in European unloading operations. In addition, a large tipping tank is available to simulate the non-hopper tipping tanks for dry bulk products popular in Europe.
By controlling the tank pressure or adjusting the booster air, a series of tests can show the characteristics of specific pneumatic components in the unloading system, or determine the best pressure and volume to isolate the optimum flow rate for various dry products. Solimar has charted the unloading curves for hundreds of dry bulk products.
