Renaming of registered company name

VOEST-ALPINE Materials Handling GmbH and Co KG, a fully owned subsidiary of Sandvik Mining and Construction has been successfully operating in the materials handling industry with continuous growth over the last decades.

According to our new business strategy and in the course of the re-branding within Sandvik Mining and Construction Group all employees and companies will be united by one single brand – Sandvik. The reasoning behind this change is the target to create a stronger, common brand with a higher recognition in the market, although core values such as product quality and customer support remain and will be further developed.

One consequence is that VOEST-ALPINE Materials Handling will change its registered company

name to:

Sandvik Mining and Construction

Materials Handling GmbH & Co KG

effective 13 February 2007.
