AEROMASTER HAS ANSWERS TO POWDER AND GRANULE HANDLING
Most conveyors can be fixed or portable and handle plastic beads and granules, some conveyors can operated at steep angles and a few can empty between products. Unfortunately most conveying applications, especially in the chemical, food and industrial product industries are not straight forward with certain types of conveyors causing spillage and wastage of product, others have separation and filtration problems whilst some have long loops to reach required heights taking up considerable floor area not to mention a full tube of product with clean out, wear, blockage and degradation problems.
Be it powders or granules, one of the most efficient and effective methods of conveying is the Aeromaster Aero-Mechanical conveyor a versatile and proven answer for many companies with material handling difficulties.
With their poor flow characteristics products don’t come much harder to convey than Milk powder, Carbon Black and Titanium Dioxide. All of which products are successfully being conveyed through our Aero-mechanical conveyors throughout the world. We have many references, which we can forward to you on your specific or similar product(s) as examples of the flexible engineering and service our customers have come to expect.
MOBILE LOADING
Time is money and the quicker road tankers can be loaded the better for all concerned. This is why Aeromaster International Ltd has been working hand in hand with both producers and transporters alike for many years. Supplying tanker loading conveyors throughout the world, handling a variety of materials from Sugar to Milk powder and Plastic beads to Carbon Black and Tio2 to name but a few.
Our tankers loading conveyors can be in fixed positions but tend to be portable complete with a winch arrangement for angle adjustment when feeding various truck heights. These loading systems generally are fed from Silos, FIBC big bags and/or controlled feed screws, valves etc. However our mobile conveyors are not limited to large feed operations but in many cases are used in production facilities where operators manually feed 25kg bags into the conveyor and with the mobile frame and winch it allows the customer to feed various sized vessels (be it mixers, blenders, storage hoppers etc) in different locations around the end users site.
A VERSATILE CONVEYOR
Aeromaster systems are ideal for handling powders and granules. Wet, dry, sticky, abrasive, free or poor flowing products all successfully handled with the Aero-Mechanical concept. This means of enclosed conveying minimises dust emissions, reduces product degradation and can achieve high throughputs with low power consumption. The unit can operate vertical or at any angle, which is a great advantage when space is a problem. With the unit available in both fixed or mobile options the Aeromaster offers a very versatile means of conveying.
HOW DO AEROMASTER’S WORKS ?
The AEROMASTER Aero-Mechanical conveyor is an enclosed tubular conveyor with a wire rope and discs at equal intervals, running via a top and bottom sprocket wheel. The unit runs at high speeds thus creating an air pocket behind each disc which conveys the product in these air pockets and centrifugally discharges, enabling the conveyor to run on less powerful motors. This is because the motor is not taking the weight of the product. Another advantage that the AEROMASTER offers is that by keeping the product in the air pocket the product is kept away from the tube walls minimising friction, wear, degradation and lining. To that end the unit successfully handles sticky products such as Milk Powder, Tio2 and Carbon Black and abrasive products such as Sand, Glass and Sugar.
