Dear Sir,

For Slag unloading from barges, we consider 2 solutions:

- A self unloading barge

- A continuous barge unloader on shore.

Are these solutions actually work in European ports.

What suppliers can we contact.

best regards

Dear Mr Solitaire,

You are referring to slag.

Is this slag cement or at least a fine powder, used in the cement industry ?

Self unloading ship.

Are you considering a pneumatic selfunloader (Tanker-barge) ?

A continuous barge unloader on shore.

Also a pneumatic barge unloader ( or a floating barge pneumatic unloader)

If I am thinking in the right direction, plese let me know.

best regards

Teus

DEAR Gilbert ,

Due to high demand of special type of barges in the market you should go for a barge unloader on the shore.regarding its type--continuous or grab depends upon the quantity/rate you want to unload.this material is highly abbrassive, for pnuematic unloading you will have to be very carefull.

We can design the entire system from unloading, storage, packing and descharge for your company,at this moment we are designing material handling system at three mega ports in India with DUTCH consultan,we are also working on cement storage terminals in KUWAIT,for your information you can also convert your barge to suit your requirement we can also provide a suitable system for the same.
