Hi, Salek.

Normally radial shiploaders are dedicated for loading gearless bulk carriers. But this conflict can be solved in three ways.

1) Using luffing boom

2) Using telescopic boom

3) Shifting vessel alongside the pier

Is it possible to get more information abt your loader?

Radial Shiploader

Dear colleages,I agree with vladimir in all points. Normally the ports receiving ships carriers with derricks on deck were not designed to be loaded by radial shiploaders. One think we did in one oportunity was to avoid to moore the shipaway from the berth a cuple of metres. To do it you have to use rubber separators to keep the shif far away from the loader tip and the chute .

Also you must avoid to gantry the shiploader, the ship captain shall know that more shifting are necesaries.

I hope you can solve your problem.

Many thanks.
