Responsibilities:

•Deliver mechanical engineering in line with project requirements and Ausenco's engineering standards.

•Deliver materials handling detail design engineering for coal projects.

•Provide good knowledge and experience of coal materials handling standards and practice.

•Performing engineering calculations.

•Preparing equipment specifications.

Qualifications:

•Minimum of 7 year’s design experience of bulk materials handling structures and equipment, plant and terminal layout, conveyor layout and design, rail, ship and truck loading/unloading

•A post secondary education in mechanical engineering.

•Experience in mining (specifically coal) required

•Knowledge and experience with CAD software

•Ability to resolve most technical issues in an efficient manner with some guidance

•Desire to develop leadership and mentoring skills

•Strong analytical skills

•Well developed written and oral skills

•Willingness to travel
