Longest Pipe Conveyor

Hi,

In India a 7 Km long single pipe conveyor has been succesfuly commisioned in June-8 and running in full capacity.the average height of conveyor is 8 mtr from ground. the beauty of conveyor is having 46 curve, 7 major horizontal , 39 vertical curveand, passing through 5 villages on green belt and zeero polution. the inclination of belt is 32 mtr toward head end side.Its carry crushed coal of 20 mm size from coal jindal coal mines to O.P jindal super thermal power plant,tamnar,raigarh,C.G.the conveyor belt speed is 3.75m/s and capacity is 1500 tph on carring side and 600 tph in return side.for maintenance its having two nos maintenance car with RF communication system with emergency stop and running on top of conveyor on rail track.

Are these curves spacial (combining both vertical and vertical curves)?

Wich diameter have this pipe?

The maintenance cars work well?? What inclination should they overcome??

Have you worked in this project?
