Qing Zhang, Professor at the Tongji University, presented "Technologies to analyse the Reliability of Machines and Structures".

Shaojian Xia, General Manager of Shanghai Engineer Consultant, gave a presentation on the "Research of Equipment Management based on Big Data".

After the conference, participants took the opportunity to visit the iron ore terminal at the Qingdao Port, which is capable of handling 400.000 t bulk carriers...

...followed by a visit of the Qingdao Harbor Vocational and Technical College.

The event ended with a visit of the 200.000 t-class iron ore terminal of the Qingdao Port.

The "Automation Conference" of the Technology Forum for Bulk Materials Handling Equipment (BMHE) was successfully held in Qingdao, China. The Technology Forum was further recognized by industry experts and will play an increasingly important role in the development of bulk material handling equipment.
