This partnership will expand the sifting technologies already available to Kemutec customers in the Food, Chemical, Performance Materials, and Aggregate sectors. At the same time, it also broadens the options for equipment that fulfils requirements for hygienic, gentle, functional size classifying and screening of products.
About GKM
Based in Germany, GKM Siebtechnik is a market and technology leader in screening. It has over 35 years of experience in the field and a reputation for setting global benchmarks in high-quality fine screening products, making them an ideal partner for Kemutec.
GKM’s range of modular Flat Deck Screeners sifts powders and granules gently while obtaining the required particle size without material degradation—which is crucial when sieving more friable products. These modular, multi-deck screeners are designed to remove the oversize product in the top deck. The remaining material passes through the appropriate number of decks for the application, down to the bottom deck, where the very fine product is collected.
While easy to operate, clean, and maintain, these screeners are also hygienic, reliable, have a long-serving life, and are more than capable of sieving high volumes. They are an efficient, effective, and economical screening solution used on various materials, particularly in ‘more difficult to screen’ scenarios.
Head of Global Sales and Business Development at Kemutec, Rob Dallow, commented:
“GKM’s ethos and high quality, simple to use range of Flat Deck Screeners align with our company’s key principles for the design of our products and complement the existing range of hygienic and innovative KEK Centrifugal Sifters which Kemutec supplies globally.
This significant addition to our portfolio means Kemutec can offer a more extensive choice of sifting equipment to manufacturers in the UK and Ireland. We are looking forward to working with our customers for the fulfilment of this technology and supporting them with our unrivalled processing expertise and comprehensive aftermarket services, including readily available spare parts.” ■
