Re: Splicing Two Different Belt
Dear all
My answer, from beginning, was No.
But I would like to see just a short answer (for another person who unbelief) from experts, Yes or No!
Thanks a lot ■
Re: Splicing Two Different Belt
Remember the old rule of thumb. "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link." I would not recommend splicing different belts together except in an emergency to get you by until the proper belt can be obtained. ■

Re: Splicing Two Different Belt
In general, two different conveyor belts should not be spliced together because the tensile strength depend on the lower grade. However, you can connect them during emergency but do find a better solution after that. ■
Splicing two different belt
Dear all
Can we splice two different steel cord belt , with same width and number of cords , together?
for example :
Can we splice ST-3150 to ST-3500 ?
width and number of cords are equal but strengths , diameter of cords and thicknesses are different.
thanks ■
