Simply detecting if the chute is plugged is certainly the first step in eliminating this problem. However, there is technology available to prevent chute pluggage. Many times a vibrator, air cannon, or chute redesign can totally elliminate chute pluggage. We would need to know items such as the conveyed material, chute size and layout, and how often the chute plugs.

I am looking for a solution for the detection of a blocked chute.
The chute is in fact a 10" schd40 carbon steel pipe.
What are the solutions for simply indicating that the pipe is blocked?
