Differecne between the rocker arm and cframe Structure of bwsr

Dear sirs,

There are various type of structure design can possible like rocker arm, c-frame. I want to know basic difference beteen them also selection criteria for choosing that design. What is the cost impact during project stage and during operation & maintence? Which is light structure for same capacity? What is behaviour in stability of the machine?

Thanking you.

Your are asking a series of questions about basic bucket wheel machine design. One of your posts asks for a specimen bucket wheel calculation.

That indicates that you want to design a machine yourself. If you were a customer you would receive the calculation in the document package which the vendor submits for your approval. Nobody with half an idea is going to accommodate such a request before an order is placed.

BWSR's are large crane quality machines and cannot be designed free of charge over these forums. Perhaps there is a manufacturer out there who will give you the information you request but I doubt it.

On this particular post you are asking questions which show that you have not considered the various structural limitations or attempted any structural analysis, however crude, before posting the query. Yet you are prepared to suggest 8000th-1 is to be handled by the machine in another post.

Kindly do some homework. You need to if you decide to submit a formal enquiry to a manufacturer and expect him to take it seriously.

Dear Mr Louispanjang.

First thanking you for reply. However i want to bring some fact to your notice. I know that the supplier or designer can give the calcultion if you order the machine. But for floating the inquire you shall give some details to manafacture and for that you should fix your requirment. Also in this forma the structural knowledge sharing are less compared to mechanical knoweldge for bwsr. The structural is very important for this type of equipment. My intention is not asking any question for any machine design. I want to creat the discussion on stractural side also that is why i put some question.
