What is the best way of reducing Ammonium Nitrate particles from approx 5mm to 2.8mm, at a tonnage of 8100kg/h with good efficiency?

A clean simple way to reduce this product, with low HP requirements per ton is our CIM Pin Mill. Please contact me if you are interested in learning more about the Munson Pin Mill for your application requirements.

I look forward to hearing from you.

This sounds like a hammer mill application, using low tip speed and fixed hammers to reduce fines generation and horsepower consumption.

A single high roller mill may fit your application. We have tested Ammonium phosphate and sulphate, but not nitrate. If you could send a sample along with MSDS information we will run the product through a mill in our test lab and forward results.
