please help me in finding a suitable solution regarding my query,

1. how the load in the hopper affect screw conveyor. i mean is there any mathematical relation, the way the material load in hopper could be distributed along the screw.

2. how to calculate the stress generated in the screw conveyor.

i found mathematical relations to find out required motor HP for screw conveyor. but there must be some effect of weight of the bulk load coming from hopper on the edge of screw. how i can relate this thing. most of the articles i found didn't highlight this issue.

any suggestion, links, papers will be greatly appreciated.
