Erie, PA, USA - At PACK EXPO 2013 (September 23-25, 2013 in Las Vegas), Eriez® unveiled the new Xtreme® Metal Detector, which surpasses previous units and competitive models alike with enhanced features, improved sensitivity, intuitive operation and exceptional reliability. The ultra-sleek Xtreme Metal Detector blends simplicity and sophistication with its easy-to-navigate control with extra large color interface.
“Our field sales engineers and customers played a vital role in the development of our new Xtreme Metal Detector,” explains John Klinge, Product Manager-Metal Detection. “We gathered crucial information from our customers about what they want and need in metal detection equipment and we designed the Xtreme Metal Detector to exceed these demands and expectations.”
Made for industry applications including chemical, food processing, packaging, textiles, pharmaceuticals, plastics and rubber, the Xtreme Metal Detector boasts a completely re-designed and incredibly user-friendly interface. Highlights include full QWERTY keyboard, robust auto set-up, dedicated reject log and vivid display. “We modeled our interface after today’s stylish and advanced smartphones,”Klinge pointed out.
The Xtreme Metal Detector offers greater sensitivity with its multiple frequency range and vibration immunity. An integrated beacon and configurable inputs and outputs enable easy installation. Maintenance is trouble-free with the Xtreme’s large control opening for easy access to wiring.
Multiple Xtreme Metal Detectors can be remotely monitored and controlled from a single PC. This enables its users to monitor, analyze and update each system, as if the operator was standing at each machine.
