I'm in charge for PCS CB (Grades N330, N326) for general machinery like Airlocks, Fans, Pulverizsers, etc.
Its a dilute-state conveying system.
I was wondering what are my Purge Media options.
* our suppliers recommended a purge system of IA for all machinery, but I think this could be too costly and having second thoughts on the necessity of purging.
* some machinery are running with TG and exhaust, which I think, should not be introduced with IA, for safety reasons
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I will be glad to help but please clarify what your objectives are, and what is the meaning of words like PCS and TG. Rotary valves used in pneumatic conveying of carbon black generally have air purge in their shaft packings to prevent ingress of carbon black dust.
