Thanking you & Regards,

Ganesh,

For transportation of bulk materials, the choice between belt and pneumatic conveying all depends upon their relative economics. Economics must take into all costs incurred such as capital investment, operating cost, maintenance cost, etc. In general, this cost analysis will conclude that an installation that has both horizontal and vertical conveying, long distances, multiple feed and receiving points, complex conveying routes, is better suited for pneumatic conveying.

You may like to take my pneumatic conveying course for further information.
