Generaly, it is very common to use an offset correlation method. Quantify your count x size using microscopy. Do the same using your Coulter. Run a linear regression between the two results. You could also perform a BET Surface area and Pore Size Distribution Analysis. Coulter can help with that. ■

Correlation between Equivalent Spherical diameter and Equivalent circular diameter
Hi,
I am working on project to meaure particle sizes ( irregular shape) using coulter counter method and microscopy method. I am getting a very high count with microscopy method as comapred to coulter. Is there any parameter that can be shared by both the methods and could give approximately close counts.
