I am a research assistant from the New York State University College of Environmental Science and Forestry. We have a project considering biosolids treatment and transport. I make calculation of the transportation costs for the biosolids by barge in the State of New York.
For my calculation I need approximate price for a barge loader and unloader for a 1600 DWT barge which should be loaded/unloaded within 8 to 16 hours, which probably requires a capacity of about 300 tph.
The biosolids habe a consistency of wet soil.
I would appreciate any help in estimating the costs.
